William Blake

One of my favorite poets is William Blake; He wrote melodious, succinct little bobbles of wisdom.  I have used many of these to dazzle prospective males; that "smart girl" shit gets 'em every time!  Here are a few of my Blake favorites!

  • I must create a system or be enslaved by another mans; I will not reason and compare: my business is to create.
  • Exuberance is beauty.
  • Some are born to sweet delight, Some are born to endless night.
  • You never know what is enough unless you know what is more than enough.
  • A fool sees not the same tree that a wise man sees.
  • A truth that's told with bad intent Beats all the lies you can invent
  • It is right it should be so, Man was made for joy and woe; And when this we rightly know, Through the world we safely go.

William Blake (1757 - 1827)
